Elijah Burch

Elijah Burch, LCMHC, is a licensed clinical mental health counselor who provides individual and couples counseling for children, adolescents, and adults with evidence-based care at PATH Therapy Services in Youngstown, Ohio. Elijah has a particular interest in working with athletes, drawing from his experience as a collegiate football player to help individuals develop the skills and mindset necessary to succeed in both sports and life. He specializes in solution-focused therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), motivational interviewing, crisis intervention, and mindfulness-based approaches. His background includes case management, academic support, athletic performance coaching, and community advocacy.

Elijah is dedicated to creating safe and inclusive spaces where clients can heal, build resilience, strengthen identity, and develop lifelong coping strategies. Throughout his work, he has developed treatment and emotional regulation programs, spoken at symposiums focused on suicide awareness among athletes, and presented programs at the university level. His leadership experience includes serving as a Clinical Counseling Intern and Case Manager at Youngstown State University, where he supported a diverse client population and facilitated personal growth.

Elijah earned his Master of Education in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Youngstown State University and dual bachelor’s degrees in psychology and Sport Business from the University of Mount Union. He continues to expand his skills and training to better serve diverse communities.
