At PATH Therapy Services, community involvement reflects the team’s ongoing commitment to extending care and education beyond the therapy room. It means engaging directly with schools, nonprofits, and community partners to promote mental health literacy, provide resources, and encourage open conversations about wellness.
Rather than offering counseling through these programs, the focus is on education, prevention, and partnership, helping individuals and families know where to turn for support when they need it.
PATH Therapy Services’ community outreach includes a variety of initiatives designed to inform, empower, and connect people across Strongsville and surrounding areas, such as:
Together, these efforts help cultivate a stronger, more connected community where mental health is recognized as a shared responsibility.
The team contributes through both planned programs and community engagement opportunities, including volunteering at health fairs, speaking at schools, providing educational materials, and collaborating on resource guides that benefit families and organizations. Much of this community involvement is led by Eric, whose extensive experience reflects PATH Therapy Services’ commitment to meaningful outreach. Eric currently serves as Chairman of the Poland Township Board of Trustees, previously served as President of the Mahoning County Mental Health and Recovery Board, and brings over 30 years of experience working with behaviorally handicapped and special education students as a teacher. By partnering with other professionals and community leaders, PATH Therapy Services helps ensure that individuals and families have access to the right resources—whether that’s counseling, education, or social support—when they need it most.
Community participation strengthens relationships and reinforces PATH Therapy Services’ mission to make mental health awareness approachable and accessible. These efforts not only help local residents feel supported but also encourage ongoing collaboration among educators, caregivers, and health professionals.
Most importantly, community involvement fosters understanding, compassion, and shared responsibility for emotional well-being—values that lie at the heart of PATH Therapy Services’ work.
