Lalita Board is a warm, collaborative counselor at PATH Therapy Services in Youngstown, Ohio. She is dedicated to building transparent, supportive relationships with each client and family she serves. She believes meaningful change begins with trust and works intentionally to create a space where clients feel seen, respected, and empowered.

Her approach centers on partnering with clients to develop individualized treatment plans that honor their unique experiences, strengths, and goals. She integrates evidence-based interventions, including psychoeducation, motivational interviewing, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), and stress management strategies, to support sustainable, meaningful progress.

Lalita is passionate about helping individuals deepen their sense of identity, recognize their inherent strengths, and understand the connection between emotions, thoughts, and behaviors. Her work is grounded in compassion, curiosity, and the belief that everyone has the capacity to grow and heal.

She primarily works with adolescents and young adults (ages 15 and up) and provides culturally responsive counseling for the Hispanic community, supporting both adolescents and adults. Lalita strives to create an environment where clients feel safe exploring challenges, celebrating successes, and moving toward the life they want to build.

Lalita frequently supports clients navigating a wide range of mental health concerns, including anxiety disorders (such as generalized anxiety, social anxiety, and panic-related symptoms), depression and mood-related challenges, stress, burnout, and life transitions, identity development and self-esteem concerns, relationship and family stressors, emotional regulation difficulties, and grief and loss. She works collaboratively with clients to better understand these experiences and develop practical, personalized strategies for growth and healing.
